Welcome to ""

This web site is a privately managed. The purpose of the site is to tell you preciousness of peace through a disaster of war. The Nagaoka Airraid on August 1st, 1945 killed 1,500 people just in one night by fire bobming. Although I had not experienced that air raid, I tried describing the disaster so that a visitor can tell how a war is disastrous to people.
Not only about war/peace issues, this site has a lot of contents. I would like to make this small website a kind of record of my personal history. The oldest part of this site was opened to the web on July 7th, 2002.

No knowledge of Japanese language is needed to read through this web site. Please don't worry!

Article 9.

Aspiring sincerely to an international peace based on justice and order, the Japanese people forever renounce war as a sovereign right of the nation and the threat or use of force as means of settling international disputes.

In order to accomplish the aim of the preceding paragraph, land, sea, and air forces, as well as other war potential, will never be maintained. The right of belligerency of the state will not be recognized.
